24 Hours of Le Mans (1969) — Original French Poster by André Delourmel
Original poster for the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans, held 14–15 June. This edition is remembered for Jacky Ickx’s famous “slow walk” protest at the start and his eventual victory in the Ford GT40 — making it one of the most iconic races in Le Mans history. Artwork by André Delourmel, printed by Imprimeries Oberthur, showing the packed pit straight with Alpine-Renaults lined up before the start.
A strong example of late-1960s French motorsport advertising tied to one of the most historically significant Le Mans races.
Condition
