Shipping policy
Overview
Attic Finds sources and sells mid-century and vintage furniture, lighting, posters and unique collectibles. Because many pieces are fragile, oversized or one-of-a-kind, our shipping process varies by item. We aim to make the experience clear, safe and efficient for all customers.
Small Item Shipping (Flat Rate)
Smaller items that can be safely sent through standard parcel services ship Australia-wide at a flat rate.
• Standard Shipping: $15
• Express Shipping: $25
These rates apply to items such as unframed posters, small objects, and other parcel-friendly items. Tracking will be provided once dispatched.
Medium & Heavy Items (Shipping by Quote)
Many of our products are vintage, delicate, oversized or heavy and cannot travel safely via standard parcel networks. These items require a custom shipping quote.
Examples include: furniture, framed posters, heavy copper sets, trunks, sculptural pieces and other large or fragile objects.
At checkout, these items will display: “Custom Shipping Quote Required (Not Free Shipping)”
After you place your order, we will contact you with delivery options and a tailored shipping quote. Shipping is invoiced separately before dispatch. You are welcome to request a quote before purchasing.
Customer-Arranged Shipping
Customers may organise their own courier or freight provider for any item. We are happy to coordinate a suitable collection time with your chosen carrier.
Melbourne Wednesday Delivery (Quote Required)
We offer weekly Wednesday delivery to Melbourne and surrounding suburbs for all items.
This will appear at checkout as: “Melbourne Wednesday Delivery (Quote Required)”
Delivery fees vary based on the item size, weight and delivery location. Quotes are provided after purchase or on request.
Free Pickup — Bendigo
Free pickup is available in Bendigo for all orders.
After your order is confirmed, we will contact you to arrange a pickup time and provide the address (we have 2 locations where products are safely stored).
Processing & Dispatch Times
All pieces are inspected and packed carefully before dispatch. Processing time is typically 1–3 business days depending on the item. Custom freight and Melbourne delivery times are arranged individually.
Packaging
Items are packed with care to ensure safe arrival. Fragile or heavy items may require additional materials, which will be included in your quote.
Combined Shipping
If purchasing multiple items, we will always look for the most cost-effective combined option. You are welcome to request a combined quote prior to purchase.
International Shipping
International shipping is not currently offered.
