Overview
Attic Finds specialises in mid-century, vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces. These items often show signs of age, patina and character, which are considered part of their appeal rather than faults. For this reason, we operate under a no-returns policy except where an item has been fundamentally misrepresented.
We encourage all customers to review items carefully, request additional information, and make full use of our viewing options before purchasing.
No Returns for Change of Mind
We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, including situations where the item does not suit your space, style or expectations. All sales are final once completed.
Vintage Condition Disclosure
Our pieces are authentic vintage or mid-century items and may display age-appropriate wear. We provide detailed descriptions, measurements, photographs and notes on condition to ensure buyers fully understand what they are purchasing.
Wear consistent with age and use does not qualify as a defect.
When a Refund May Be Considered
A refund may be considered only in cases where an item has been materially or fundamentally misrepresented.
We make every effort to prevent this by providing clear information, personalised support and transparent descriptions.
How to Request a Review
If you believe your item has been misrepresented, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item with:
• Your order number
• A detailed explanation
We will assess the situation promptly and determine the appropriate outcome. If approved, refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Inspection & Viewing Options
To help customers make confident decisions, we offer:
• Additional photographs upon request
• Detailed condition notes
• Online personalised viewings
• Face-to-face inspections by appointment in Bendigo
We strongly encourage buyers to take advantage of these options.
Shipping Costs for Approved Returns
In the rare event that a return is approved, the customer is responsible for safely repackaging the item. Shipping or transport costs are not refundable. Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Items Not Eligible for Return
• Items damaged through misuse or improper handling
• Items that have been altered after purchase
• Items where evidence of misrepresentation cannot be demonstrated
Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is found to have a major fault not disclosed at the time of sale, you may be entitled to a remedy.
